IACEE Website
The
IACEE website is up and running! While
there are many areas open to the public, the forums, membership lists, and
WCCEE proceedings are open only to members. The site is designed to be
interactive and member-driven, with tutorials on how to register and login,
along with others available upon registration (adding content, uploading
files, creating a blog). With so many dynamic features, it is a terrific
member tool for members.
In order to register,
you will be asked for your name, a username, email, and password. When
registering, it is important that you use the email listed in the IACEE
membership database, as that is what is used to confirm membership. Upon
activation of your membership (which will take up to 24 hours), you will
have all member rights to add and edit your content, create a blog,
participate in forums, etc. Should you have any questions or problems
registering for the IACEE site, you should contact IACEE headquarters at
info@iacee.org.

The Stanford School of Engineering today

encouraging educators and learners around the world to incorporate the video
courses and materials into their educational endeavors and to form virtual
communities around the classes.
We are excited to extend our teaching and learning opportunities worldwide
through SEE, said Jim Plummer, dean of the Stanford Engineering School. We
hope SEE will enable a broad range of people to learn, to share their ideas
and to make their own contributions to knowledge.
The 10 courses, arranged in three subject areas, include one of Stanfords
most popular sequences: the three-quarter introduction to computer science.
SEE also offers three courses on artificial intelligence and robotics, and
four on linear systems and optimization. The address for SEE is
